I was stuck with a 16 Gig MOSS virtual PC image and had no space whatsoever to get the VS 2008 Service Pack 1 installation. A quick lookup revealed several inexpensive resizing tools but I could find a free one and it works great.
It requires .NET 2.0 and can be downloaded from http://vmtoolkit.com/files/folders/converters/entry87.aspx
Its a nice to have took in a MOSS developers toolbox I suppose!
Edit:
And if you get an error while using DISKPART which says:
“The volume you have selected may not be extended.
Please select another volume and try again.”
then make sure you have assigned a drive letter to the new drives first partition! and it would work!
cheers!

I am registered on a list for people who seek accommodation in stockholm city and your eligibility or preference is how many days have you been in that queue. If you do not log in for 3 months, you loose all your credit days and that is what exactly happened :(
There can't be a better time or reason to spend some time writing a small utility which can do some simple things, like, but not limited to:
1. Displaying Daily, Weekly, Fortnight, Monthly and Quarterly reminders on the desktop.
2. Display special reminders (like Birthdays, and Meetings)
3. Open up Web Browsers with sites that need me to visit in a time window to keep my accounts active (www.no-ip.com is another one)
4. Make web requests to pages i ask it to on a regular basic and notify me if any changes to those pages are found.
and so on .......
I came up with a quick GUI using VS .NET 2005 IDE. It uses Krypton Toolkit and icons from www.FamFamFam.com which both are very cool.
Please post your comments or suggestions what this utility can do more to keep things simple!
