The MCP site is way too slow to update results and certification status but I could see my results on Prometric site (it should have been before Jan 21, but better late than never )

So I feel great now that in 2010 alone I did clear 9 beta exams from Microsoft of the total 11 I appeared for.

I could register for the two new exams which are the first for Silverlight and Windows Azure.

PRO: Designing and Developing Windows Azure Applications

I am very very happy today – for i cleared all of the beta exams (one result is sill not there, but i am sure about it)

Exam 70-516: TS: Accessing Data with Microsoft .NET Framework 4

Exam 70-518: Pro: Designing and Developing Windows Applications Using Microsoft .NET Framework 4

Exam 70-519: Pro: Designing and Developing Web Applications Using Microsoft .NET Framework 4

Exam 70-513: TS: Windows Communication Foundation Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4

I appeared as a beta exam taker during April for these 6 exams and I am really glad that i made it! Wohoooooo!

Update: the last result (70-513) arrived today - and I passed all of the six beta exams now - so i am certified in all .NET 4.0 exams now!!! Yay!

Finally…….. today i am done with all the 6 beta exams for .NET 4.0. I must say that ASP .NET exams have really been developed from scratch and were quite to the point. Its not something that one could expect to pass from cramming a few brain dumps or just going through a prep guide. The MS Learning team has done a good job here ……. cheers!

With .NET 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010 release around the corner (maybe its the 12th of April 2010) and beta exams for .NET 4.0 running all of April it seems I would be able to keep myself busy after all again turning pages and listening to some audio books :)

Last week I appeared and cleared the TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 - Windows Communication Foundation exam. I scored 870 of 1000 and I believe its a good exam for i plan to work with BizTalk Server 2009 in near future. I am now reading "Professional BizTalk® Server 2006 by Darren Jefford,Kevin B. Smith and Ewan Fairweather (amazon page) which is quite a good book for i can see that they really have tried to make it as practical as it can be for some one who has just started to work with BizTalk, know what you are doing is more important than how to do it.

Anyhow, i hope i get to work with BizTalk soon on a real assignment. 

Last week, I appeared for the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 - Web-Based Client Development and cleared it. So I am now a MCTS.

It was mostly due to the help and collaboration of other colleagues that have emphasized importance of getting certified over last couple of months. Now the tempo is good so I hope I will get a few more certifications and make myself more useful as a consultant at TietoEnator!

Today, I appeared for the Microsoft .NET Framework - Application Development Foundation exam and passed!

Next in line is the Web Exam, Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 – Web-Based Client Development that i shall be preparing for now and take the test sometime in October!

The 536 was not so difficult considering that i did not get enough time to revise all of the stuff, the course book is a pile of pages and by the time i get to the end of the book it seems i already am forgetting the beginning!

Anyhow we will see how it goes with the Web Exam!
